New Delhi: Manish Malik has been appointed as the Executive Director (Information Systems) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). In this capacity, he will spearhead the company’s digital transformation, IT strategy, and cybersecurity initiatives. He replaces Manish Grover in this position.
With over three decades of experience in IT and digital strategy, Malik has played a pivotal role in aligning technology with business objectives. His expertise in enterprise applications, SAP implementation, and IT governance has contributed significantly to operational efficiency and business optimization at Indian Oil. Prior to this promotion, he served as IT Head for Indian Oil’s Marketing Division in Mumbai, where he led digital initiatives and IT infrastructure modernization. He also held key leadership positions at Ratnagiri Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited, overseeing IT roadmaps for large-scale projects.
As the Executive Director (Information Systems) and CIO, Malik will focus on integrating IT strategies with business growth, driving innovation, and strengthening cybersecurity frameworks. His appointment comes at a crucial time as Indian Oil continues its push towards digital excellence and advanced technology adoption to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
