Bengaluru: HP India has appointed Komal Kakkar as the Head of Corporate Communications. She is a seasoned public relations professional with more than ten years of experience. In her new role, Kakkar will lead HP India’s communication strategy, focusing on enhancing the company’s brand narrative, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and driving impactful communication initiatives across the country.

Kakkar’s expertise spans multiple sectors, including technology, media, healthcare, and banking, where she has consistently demonstrated her ability to design and execute innovative communication campaigns. Before joining HP, she held several prominent leadership roles, including her stint as Head of Corporate Communications at Samsung, a role in which she served for five years. In addition, she has also served as the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Apollo Munich Healthcare Insurance Company, wherein she was responsible for developing and executing PR campaigns, managing product launches, and developing and maintaining media relations. Prior to that, she was associated with IPAN Hill & Knowlton for three years where she managed clients from the BFSI space in India like Max Life Insurance, Citi Group, Canara HSBC OBC Life Insurance, etc.

Kakkar is a commerce graduate from Maitreyi College, Delhi University, and also holds a PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Mass Communications.
