With more than two decades of experience in data engineering, analytics, and automation, Jha’s leadership is expected to play a crucial role in driving the bank’s digital transformation.
Leadership Role in Data Governance and Quality
Based in Mumbai, he will be responsible for managing the bank’s data governance, quality, and policy enforcement. He aims to establish enterprise-wide data standards, build governance frameworks, and optimize information management processes. His role is critical as the banking sector increasingly relies on data for decision-making and innovation.
Driving Operational Efficiencies
His extensive experience in creating business performance dashboards and modernizing data tools is expected to help IDBI Bank improve its operational efficiency. His focus will be on streamlining data processes, ensuring the quality and accessibility of information across the bank. Background and Previous Experience
Before joining IDBI Bank, Jha held senior roles at several major financial institutions. At Morgan Stanley, he served as Executive Director, where he created a Center of Excellence for Data Strategy. He led initiatives focused on data monetization, risk mitigation, and automation, including the development of frameworks like Data as a Service. His previous leadership positions at UBS and Bank of America involved implementing data lakes and automation tools, as well as driving digital transformation projects in the financial services sector.
